PARTNERING WITH ACCESS TUCSON EXTENDS THE REACH OF NON-PROFITS

Access Tucson will help any non-profit organization or government entity use television to get its message out to the citizens living in the Tucson valley. Our 3 cable channels reach approximately 200,000 households in the city and county and worldwide internet viewers

Here are the services were able to offer because of the unique partnership between Access Tucson volunteers (who crew every program) and community organizations.

Local Matters: 30-minute talk show. Organizations are able to focus on their message and the in-depth work they do. Four programs are taped monthly, and each show airs daily, for a week, on one of our cable channels, as well as on the City of Tucson's Channel 12.

Government Connection: 30-minute, live, call-in show. This format is offered to governmental parties as varying as municipalities, school districts, small business commissions and environmental agencies. The program airs live each week and has two replays.

Tucson Vision: 30-minute talk show. The non-profit organization provides the TV host and signs on for a series of six, taped episodes. Each show is aired at least twice a week.

Remotes: Access Tucson's production truck, mini-mobile unit or package team go on location for special events. Organizations need to submit an event sponsorship application before an event. Though the remote services are free of charge, Access Tucson places a $5000.00 in-kind sponsorship to televise an event.

Organizations own the shows Access Tucson produces for them after they are cablecast. Non-profits report using their shows for staff training, client orientation, fundraising, and continued public education.
