Governor Signs Arizona Cable Legislation

We appreciate the help of all the supporters and friends of Access Tucson and those legislators who worked behind the scenes trying to protect the voice of the people on cable.
The Fight for the Future
Access Tucson continues to aggressively exert pressure on the City of Tucson to make the best possible agreement with Cox Communications for the license renewal.
The current cable license agreement expires September 2007.
Discussions are underway to develop a new cable licensing agreement that adheres to the Federal Cable Statute and best serves all the PEG channels.
Access Tucson will persist in pursuing every possible option to ensure that our community voice remains alive.
