Access Tucson Receives Back to Basics Award

Access Tucson has been awarded a Back to Basics award totalling $11,700 from Councilmember Steve Leal. The award will pay for Corky Poster’s architecture and planning firm to do a feasibility study regarding the current facilities at 124 E. Broadway.

Access Tucson would like to see if their facility could be expanded or changed to accommodate other like-minded media organizations such as Tucson 12, Pima College Television, UA Channel, TUSD TV, KXCI Radio, Arizona Media Arts Center, and Pan Left Productions in creating a Community Media Center.

Access Tucson looks forward to the results of this study and continuing ongoing conversations about creating a Community Media Center for Tucson.
