While all of the details of what will happen to the PEG channels is not clear, it is safe to assume that starting July 30, 2007, one of the three public access channels will become a digital channel. We are working on a transition plan and how the access channels will be programmed in the next season. Please check back for updates. Current series producers will be notified by mail once plans for the next season are made.
We want to thank all of the Access Tucson supporters for the enormous voice that you spoke with to both the City of Tucson and our representatives in the State Legislature over the last two years. The City of Tucson Mayor and City Council deserve all of our thanks for aggressively negotiating the new cable license in the best interests of our community.
