CH 97 Goes Digital
Posted August 3rd, 2007 by vikkid in News, Front Page, What's on TVOn July 31 at 3:30pm, Access Tucson channel 97 became digital channel 120 on Cox cable. Channel 97 which is channel 72 on Comcast remains the same.
This is the first of future channel changes at Access Tucson that are expected to occur within the next year and a half. Another channel will become a digital channel as Cox upgrades its cable system. As digital subscribers increase, Access Tucson will have the ability to offer video-on-demand on the cable system.
Television across America is becoming digital. Meanwhile, Access Tucson is exploring new ways for viewers to watch programming including web-based on-demand.
