Access Producer Shakes ‘n’ Moves with the Children’s Museum

The Tucson Children’s Museum came to Access Tucson with a request to help create an exhibit. This was not something that Access Tucson could do, but we were able to put them in touch with Access Tucson producer Hal Jackson. The Children’s Museum was very lucky to receive the experience and enthusiasm that Hal brought to this project.
The exhibit is sponsored by Tucson Medical Center and features activities for kids that highlight healthy activities. The piece that Hal helped create “Shake ‘n’ Move” involves a live camera in the museum and the magic of chroma-key to allow kids to be a part of different activities such as, a hike in the forest or a Hip Hop dance class.
The kick off for this exhibit was attended by Governor Janet Napolitano, who thoroughly enjoyed the exhibit. Kids of all ages can see the exhibit at the Children’s Museum at the end of the month.
