Grants & Scholarships Committee Suspends Program
Posted March 3rd, 2009 by lisa in Classes, Front Page, NewsAt this time, the Grants and Scholarships committee of the Access Tucson Board of Directors has decided to suspend the Scholarships Program. This comes as as result of the very serious budget issues that Access Tucson faces at this time.
Applications may still be submitted for classes that may have unfilled seats. Awards will be made on a first come, first serve, stand-by basis and require service hours in exchange for the award.
The Grants and Scholarships Committee and the staff of Access Tucson truly regret the suspension of the Scholarships Program. The vibrancy and diversity of our organization comes directly from our membership and the programming they produce. We hope that the suspension of this program will be brief.
