The WAVE Awards celebrate the Best in the West in community media.
The Western Access Video Excellence Awards – are your opportunity to showcase your best work along with other community media producers in the Alliance for Community Media, Western Region’s six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico.
Two new categories have been created for 2009!
The Free Speech TV Community Activism Award is for programming that encourages people to get involved in positive social change. The winner will receive a national broadcast on Free Speech TV reaching more than 30 million U.S. households.
The WAVE Web Shorts is for submissions of ten minutes or less, uploaded to the internet so the community can view and vote on their favorite.
