Last night the Mayor and Council cut all funding to Access Tucson effective immediately. The City Manager announced that he will bring the Mayor and Council back a plan to combine public (Access Tucson) and government access (Tucson 12) on February 23. Presumably we will begin a discussion with the City immediately regarding how this will be accomplished.
Access Tucson Board of Directors will meet Thursday 1/14 at 5pm to discuss the fallout from the budget cuts made by the city. Until further notice, we will be conducting business as usual.
