Local Matters is a 30 minute talk show produced by Access Tucson to highlight non-profit organizations and groups in Tucson. Local matters matter most on Local Matters. A new episode starts every Sunday at 5pm on Access Tucson channel 74 (Comcast) / 99 (Cox).

See the spunky Sharon Kha, President of the Arizona Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association (AZAPSA) rap, yes RAP about her own trials and tribulations with Parkinson's. Dr. Becky Farley, founder of PWR! GYM is also featured on the show to tell us how moving BIG slows Parkinson's Disease.

Host Erica Fluckus discusses the work of the HI-TECH Team from Every Voice in Action Foundation (EVIA) with Robin Soliz, Team Leader and Judith Anderson Ph.D., CEO of EVIA. Projects include the production of a video titled, Seeing Tucson Through the Eyes of Youth and a recent gathering for youth (and families) called "Think. Talk. Take Action!" where youth creatively voiced their concerns and issues to the the community and engaged community leaders in conversation.
