The Access Tucson Board of Directors met last night (1/14/2010) and discussed the funding situation and relationship to the City at length. Without additional funding there is only enough reserve funds to last a few months. Staff has been directed to bring back alternative scenarios to a special Board meeting which will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at Access Tucson.

We thank you for your support. Your calls and emails to the Mayor and Council and presence at the council meeting last Tuesday mean that we won’t go down quietly. We will continue to fight so the citizens of Tucson continue to have a voice, their own voice, in their own community. Once a plan of action is adopted we will call upon all friends and supporters to assist.
